Summary of Japan

Well, I think it's obvious: I loved Japan! 6 weeks definitely was not enough - I didn't get to do everything that I wanted to do, and could have easily used another 1-2 months in Japan. Okinawa, Mt. Fuji, Nagano area, the other national parks in Hokkaido, more of Kyushu besides Nagasaki and Fukuoka...this list goes on and on.

Even now, I really miss all the little things of Japan (and I really noticed the stark contrasts when I went home for those brief 2 weeks): countless Japanese business men and women in their similar suits (like being cut out of a mold), the food (oh the food...hahaha; I'll leave it like that otherwise I could fill pages with the foods I'll miss), the innate friendliness, the punctuality, efficiency, and organization of the trains and public transport systems, Japanese efficiency in general, the everyday expressions and phrases (so so so so so...), the feeling of being completely safe, the convenience of the konbinis (I realized I've been spelling "convenie" wrong, it's actually konbini and is Japanese), the super clean hostels, the vast range of environments, the hilarious and quirky Japanese game shows, the funky fashion, the culture...I think it's obvious I miss the place. Even with the language barrier, I survived (surprisingly easily), and despite the costs, I will definitely return to see the rest of Japan I couldn't capture in the 6 weeks I was there.

Sayonara Nippon! (I realize this post comes over a month late, but I don't care hahaha)
